Dic Switch

I finally have the extra money for the DIC panel and switches so tomorrow i'll order it and the part should arrive tuesday and hopefully it will i've been wanting it since it I got the truck. My truck is a wt model with the 4.8l but the dealer installed the ls package, chrome steel wheels, chrome grille surround, chrome front bumber, trailering package, locking rear end, handling/trailering susp, vortec gas 5.3l with active fuel mgt, cruise control, 3.73 gears. I looked at 2 different wt model and the first 1 had the 4.8l gas 4wd black bumpers, ugly steel wheels, it was just a plain jane tuck with basiclly no options for 28,505 and the 2 one is what I have now a wt model with the ls pckg, bigger engine, 4wd, it has alot more options with the dic wires and this one was 29,590. So im glad that I waited about another week for a truck I really wanted, I just wished it had power windows/locks guess that will be my next investment

that sounds like the truck I have, but yeah, dealer doesn't install those features they come from factory. I just bought my truck for 21,000 (5.3L, ext cab, 4x4, LT2 pkg) these things are going down in price!!

 

Let us know if the switches work, which they should because the connector is already there. Do you have any pics of your truck?

indeed. what you have hogue2008 is a W/T package with some additional options.

i meant factory not the dealer sorry. i live in chattanooga tn and the truck came out of knoxville tn and they couldnt send me any pics, so the only thing i seen was the window sticker and after 4 days i finally seen it and picked it up. i signed the papers friday evening at my dealer but the lady who writes the checks dont work on saturday so i couldnt get it saturday closed on sunday of course monday came around they get the check wrote out and drive all the way to knoxville to get the truck and the guy who was doing the deal didnt work that day then tuesday i finally got my truck around 4 i wasnt to happy until i seen the truck. i traded my old truck and they took it friday i guess they did that incase i changed my mind about the whole deal but saturday they sold my old truck but it was a good looking truck and they gave me a new cobalt to drive for the 4 days i had they filled it up for me and they said to bring it back on E if i wanted to. i was suprised that they gave me one of their cars considering that im only 20.

i ordered the panel today and it should be in tomorrow. i went ahead and got it from the dealer it was only 100 there but first they were trying to charge me 143 plus tax for and i got on gm site on my phone and showed them that they were only 100 on there then they said they could do that so in the end i was pleased

nice. i did mine a couple weeks ago, it's an easy, inexpensive upgrade.

Nice truck. Those three mods were my first changes too. I stole the DIC my dad had ordered for his truck and then ordered one for him the day I got mine. I had tires and tinted windows within a week.
