Adding Sat Radio To Gm Nav Unit 15800000

I have a 2006 Silverado LT1 pkg. I am in the process of upgrading the head unit to a NAV unit 15800000, out of a trail blazer. I want to add XM or siruse while I am at it.

 

I would preffer Sirius, but I also want it to enterface with the touchscreen nav unit. So question 1 is am I stuck with XM.

 

If I am stuck with XM there are some aftermarket interface kits on E-bay for 100-200 bucks. Or there is the complete factory setup for just under 400.00 bucks. Whats the difference? The aftermarket say they work just like factory.

So what way do I go, I hate to spend the 375.00 to get the factory OEM parts, if these aftermarket parts are the same thing for a heck of a lot less.

I have the audiovox version on my truck and it works great. I dont have a nav radio bit i think it would work the same.
