Anyone know about how much this hood runs? Or have one installed on there truck?

I haven't seen anyone with that hood, alls I've seen are the ram air hoods.

I have seen this in truckin magazine. I found it in Stylin Trucks add. I think I like the ram air style one better for the NBS trucks but I do like the fact that this hood is made out of steel instead of some kind of composite material.

Yeah its cheaper than the ram air hoods...I always did like the look of the cowl..they look purdy.

Its kinda out dated functionally since everything now is injected and not carbed. Fresh air comes from down low and is cooler.

One of my best friends is a GB Packer you'd never hear that from me! Lol even though when I read it I laughed too

This is the hood I've been looking at. Saw it on a custom from the dealer.. Looks great and supposedly cools the engine bay somewhat too.

Thats a nice hood! however, i have a silverado, so that wont work for me... I wonder if i could put this one onto my 1500

I saw one very similar to that hood (but have no idea on brand name etc.) in a recent J.C. Whitney catalog. It was drop shipped from who ever the manufacturer is as JCW didn't actually stock them. They were for the 2005 to 2007 trucks I believe, and came already painted to match your factory paint code. I have a 2002 so I didn't really study the details. I believe they had 2 models available, they were steel and the price was about $600 or so, I believe. It warned of extra shipping costs but gave no details in the ad. Should be easy to find on their site as it was under the "New Items" category. Sorry I just tossed the catalog 2 days ago.
