According to Racingone.com, NHRA is Downsizing the Pro-Stock Trucks for the 2002 Season. The series will be still be run, but it will be made a "Non-Professional" series in the NHRA rankings.

The only other web site I have in my Bookmarks besides this one is NHRA.com, and they have not said anything about it over there.  I think that they are having lots of intrest in the class and may add a sportsman class with less CI or some other thing to limit the cost of running a team so a regular guy off the street could race a truck. But they don't drop a class that has the sponsors lined up and spending the money like they are now.
