Nothing terribly special, although I wish they pics of the inside. One thing that sucks is there is no garage, but I would add a 2 car garage if I did end up moving there.

I do like the fact it's out in the country and nobody would be bothering me and it's in my price range

Thoughts?

Nice, would you build a garage?

Not a bad price, and I am sure you can pick up some old tires, kitchen appliances, old bath tub, junk cars on blocks, etc...... nice and cheap to spruce up the yard nicely.

Looks good. When buying a house you want to make sure it has decent potential resale. I like the idea you have of putting a garage on it. Check for things like mold, sturdy foundation ect., also consider what a girl would look for when she is buying a house. Decent closet in master, large enough kitchen to cook, and you might want to consider adding another bathroom or something down the road. All just things to think about when buying. Hope you like it!

From the picture it doesn't look too bad. I'd be adding another bathroom as well as a garage. Given it's an older house be sure to check the foundation, basement, attic, and window sills for signs or deterioration of the wood. Also if you can ask the owners, see what their heating costs are. See if they have any problems with water encroachment/flooding. Check the condition of the roof. Check the ceilings and walls up stairs for signs of water damage from a leaky roof.

All great advice. I am a carpenter by trade, so some of this stuff will be easy for me to look at. Plus, I would have my buddies dad come with me and inspect it since he is an inspector for the state.

You misunderstood the joke Scott, I was referring to Jas's little "mishap" involving a house.
