mattgob86 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I went to my dealer yesterday and asked to test drive their only GMC All Terrain overnight, and they let me do it. The vehicle was a black crewcab SLT with sunroof, NAV/DVD and trifold tauneau cover, 5.3/6spd. I loved driving that truck. I think that the NAV is pointless and kinda annoying, if i needed that i would use my GPS. It seemed to drive great and my brothers were comfortable in the back seat. After school i went home and took the trifold cover off (very easy) to see if my Honda 400ex would fit in the back and it was snug as a bug in a rug. i had about an inch to spare but it looked like it was born to be in the back of that truck. I will be ordering my truck from one of the 3 dealers in the area. Crew cab, 6.2/6spd, SLT Steel Grey Ebony/Lt Titanium All Terrain Pack Trailer Brake Sunroof Single disc Radio Business Choice-Large tool box option Let me know what other options i should consider, the salesman said that the back up camera was going to be an option again, are those cameras worth it, i live on a dirt road and the back would be dirty all the time. Thanks in advance.
tobias Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I'd choose the badge delete option if I were you.
mattgob86 Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 I KNEW IT, when i saw you commented i thought to myself (i like badges so daddy will be denied)

Thanks in advance. Awesome dude... I always thought the back up camera's were for really old men or you know women...lol j/k kinda pointless imo...i guess the only use would be for hooking a trailer up easier...lol i could do without...jmo but other than that thats going to be one sick truck...you sure your going to know what to do with all 400 of those horses? lol
BuckFeverZ Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Sounds like a badazz truck. I would consider the power sliding rear window. It's something I didn't 'need' but now that I have it, its a sweet option. FTR, I agree with Jon. Back up camera's and the parking assist are for people who don't know how to drive trucks.
Bowtie2Sierra Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Sounds like a great combo to me. I always thought the parking sensors were a stupid option but my truck came with that option. The sensors have actually come in handy a few times when parking downtown so that might be something you consider.
Z71kris Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 you did not get any pictures of this truck?
music Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I will be ordering my truck from one of the 3 dealers in the area. What kind of delivery time are they estimating?
VMax2007 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 FTR, I agree with Jon. Back up camera's and the parking assist are for people who don't know how to drive trucks. I agree 90%. It would be nice for backing up to my boat to hitch it up though.
