2002 Sierra Drl Bulb Change..

This is the only forum i could post in so forgive me for posting something probably so simple.

 

I looked under the hood an saw a place to unscrew the bulb an put a new bulb in for the DRL,but i cant hardly get my arm in there.There is alotta stuff around it which prevents the bulb from easily getting out.I read in my Haynes book that a lever makes the DRL swing out for easy access.What is the best way to change this simple problem.Am i correct in the light assembly swinging out? The book is very very vague.Thanks all.
