Installed 2 Blocks In Rear Now Bad Vibration

Recommended Posts

I have a '99 Silverado 1500 4x4. To combat the rear leafs sagging, I installed 2" blocks in the rear. Now between 60-80 mph there is a bad vibration, not like a bad u-joint but a shaking type of vibration. So far I changed all 4 u- joints and made sure everything is tight and had an alignment done. Any ideas? This is driving me freaking nuts

Odd that it started after the blocks were installed. I've never seen blocks cause a vibration of any kind. I'd say it has to be in a wheel and tire somewhere but anything here is just a guess at this point.

Are the blocks tapered? Did you install them backwards?

Take a pic of your pinion angle for us

Did you have the driveline balanced?

the blocks are not tapered and I didn't know you could get your drive line balanced. I will get a pic up of the pinion angle. Thanks
