You can get them from the parts department at your dealer, but the best thing you could ever do is throw them in the garbage & buy some chrome lug nuts!

To replace them, you could order new ones from a dealer. Or they may be available at parts store online.

To tighten them, you could use plumber's teflon tape on the threads on the actual lug nuts.

dont over tighten, they strip easy!

WORST idea GM ever had. They took center caps that were molded in one piece on every other manufactuirer's vehicles to snap in place (makes sense!) and made them 7 pieces PLUS special lug nuts with threads. What an idiotic idea.

OOOPS

Sorry. You have to be really careful with them or they strip. Once they turn 1.4 turn too far, you might as well toss them in a trash can. Horrible idea. Bad part is that they also hold on many center caps so you can't just discard them.

Is there a chrome replacement, that will allow you to still use the factory centers?

I'd try Autozone or other auto parts house for the plastic ones. I've not seen any chrome lugs that allow you to use the factory caps. GM has that one in the bag.

i have a couple that have stripped, but as long as you dont strip 3 or 4 on the same wheel i dont think its a big issue, the cap wont just fall off.. but i agree, horrible idea, can't wait to get new rims.

Get the stainless capped lugnuts. I have them on my truck and they look a lot better than the black plastic ones and won't rust like chrome.
