Hey Wingerak92

Hello from another BC'er.

Good looking truck. Do you need the 6.0l??? That would be my only concern. They can be a gas hog, especially with what we pay in gas prices!!!

Ask the dealer for the Carproof report, the GM specs and GM history (to see if it is a lemon w/lots of warranty work done on it), their safety inspection, if it is a BC truck, the ICBC report and what it was used for before they recieved it. Hope it is not an oil patch truck!!!!

It's a nice truck, but I hate when the dealer puts their name on the truck, especially when they put it on the mudflap!!!

here is one that we were looking at before we bought ours. It is a 5.3, but the milage is low.

They told me they would go as low as $21000 to get rid of the truck.

Good luck on your purchase

Cheers

Thanks,

I work for an oil company so gas prices don't bother me. I work in teh oil and gas industry as a gas plant operator. Haha. I am not affected by this recession.

It is a nice truck, but I need the 1500HD because, as I mentioned above, I work in the oil patch. That is my reason. Thanks though!

I'm a operator at a oil refinery and I don't get free/discounted gas what gives? Of course eventually gas prices will shoot back up again but, your not looking at a truck for gas mileage correct? I have a 5.3 and get decent mileage out of it but, if I were to do it again I'd get the biggest motor I could.

After all there is NO substitute for displacement IMO.

I don't get discounted gas.I pay 96.9 cents a litre liek the rest of the town. I jsut make barrels of money haha. But yeah no substitute for displacement.

I need what people think about this truck so I can make an informed decision. Thank you in advance
