Part # For Fuel Filler Door Rubber Bump Stops

What is the world coming to.

 

I went to my friends office and when I went to leave somebody had stolen the small rubber bump stops from inside the fuel filler door.

 

Does anybody have an idea what the part # is for a 08 Silverado. I went to the local auto parts store, but couldn't find anything that fit to my satisfaction.

Wow, that's pretty messed up. I had the same thing except it was a washing accident. I went to fill up one time after washing my truck, by hand, and I noticed one was missing.

Wierd how those "dissapear" I got new ones at my local Carquest parts store (05 HD) for like 4$ for 4 of 'em. I know the local NAPA has 'em too.

Yeah those can get knocked off really easy with a rag, same goes for the ones one the doors.

They were either stolen or magically disappeared while driving.

 

I stopped and put $5 in gas on Monday night and noticed them gone Tuesday afternoon. The bump stops where there when I put gas on Monday, but gone the next day and I hadn't touched that area of the truck.

 

Before anybody makes a comment about the $5 in gas, my family owns gas stations and I was just putting enough gas to reach one of our stores.

 

I'll have to try and hit a NAPA, the prevalent stores down here in Miami are Advance Auto Parts which are terrible.
