Ok I've probably already gotten more opinions than I can handle but here we go!

I'm thinkin about gettin some Diamo 20x10 wheels (5.97 backspace, -12 offset)

First of all will they look ok with 305/55-20 tires

and Second will I be able to put them on an 08 4wd silverado ex cab with a lift kit from rough country (3" front 1.5" rear)

It might rub.. do you already have that RC lift? If not you might want to look at a bigger/better lift for a nice vehicle like that. Dont cut corners.

I know its not what you want to hear but that kit isn't very good. I was looking at doing the same thing you wanted to do back when I first got my 08 a year ago. I went out got 20" wheels and 305/55/20s and thought I was going to do that lift. Then I read about all the problems associated with the lift and decided to go with a 2" leveling kit. It rubbed like hell, so I ended up going with the fabtech 6" and i couldnt be happier.

Theres no point in getting a 4" lift because it costs the same as going bigger. You can get a rancho kit that will net you 5.5" for the same price, or u can go full size like a fabtech or zone or bds that give alot of lift. I got 7.5"s or so out of the fabtech.

The only reason you would want a 4" lift is if you know thats ALL you will want. Just like everyone else says on here its a disease, and once you lift your truck, you just want more.. I already want more lift out of my truck and its been lifted for 3 weeks or so.

I guess what I'm suggesting is that if you cant afford the real lift at this time, then be patient, save for it, and then do it right. Your other options would be a performance accesories 3" body lift. You might rub a little when ur have the wheel turned and ur hitting bumps and inclines and also in reverse. From what I gather I would rather have the 3" BL over the rough county kit and im not really a big body lift fan anyway but the reviews of that kit are just that bad.
