285's?

I cant say for sure, but I would think you will need a level to fit the 285's in the front. I know with the level kits they state they can fit 285's, so I would just go ahead and level the front for that size tires.

I would recommend the BF Goodrich AT K/O tires for that size. I have the 265 version and love them. If that is the style of tire you are looking for.

I'd get a leveling kit either way. Makes the truck look a lot better. Plus, the Rough Country leveling kit is only $70 and its easy as hell to install.

I have 285/70/17 BFG A/T's on my 08 Sierra and they cleared 100% on flat ground without a leveling kit (uneven ground they rubbed). I put the 2" RC on today and they are totally fine now.

I have been looking at different leveling kits and tire and wheel combinations. From some of the information that I have gathered so far it would seem that the 285/55/20 will most likely rub. I did some measuring with my 285/55/20's with someone in the seat holding the wheel at full lock last night actually. I was shocked at how little space is there with the stock tires and wheels.
