Anytime you think you got it bad, take a look at some other countries. We all have a tendency to bitch about how bad things are, but we are extremely fortunate to be Americans. I've been to some real shitholes in my time, and every once in awhile I need to remind myself that we got it pretty damn good.

That's no lie...Out of the 30-40 countries I've been to, only two or three could come close to us in terms of stability and standards of living. Most places don't even have stable electricity to more than 10% of the population.

 I don't care about your political views on the war or whatever.

No matter what, you should support the troops. Period.

I am thankful for everything I have and am thankful for everything those men and women do for us every day.

I just have one comment: With all of the opium easily available in Afgahnistan, I would not be surprised if a large amount of Veterans were addicted to opiates such as heroin.. Very similar to Vietnam..

Those are some very powerful pictures, now why can't the media show us what is going on during the war?

Any more, it seems like there is not a war any more based on the media coverage. The medial only likes to focus on the BAD and never on the GOOD things that are taking place.

Thank you for sharing the link.:D:lol::):)
