09 Sd Just Waxed And Detailed - Finally!

Despite the crazy winds today I was able to finally wax the SD! Washed w/ carwash soap, taped off some of the rubber moldings, claybar, polish, and waxed. The clarbar was pretty darn clean though. I suppose having only 400 miles help.

 

 

Thanks to the stupid wind, it was already fairly dusty when I took the first pic. So here are a few more close up shots when I got back home and dusted it off.

Looks good. Did you put a new exhaust on it? It looks like the tailpipe goes straight out the back or is that new to the 09's?

Stock exhaust. Pretty sure that's how all the new Denali's are with the 6.2. Could be different with other trucks, possibly depending on the engine as well.

All 07+ trucks with the 6.0 or 6.2 engines have exhaust exiting straight out the back.

I love the mud and dirt too much, so mine is basically clean for a day if I wash and wax. But I do love the way the mud slides on a freshly waxed truck!
