Power Steering Problem

My 98 K1500 occasionally will get into a bind when turning sharp. I had the pump replaced which didn't fix the problem. Yesterday I had had parked with the wheel at full lock to the left. When I started to back out the wheel felt as if it was locked up. I forced it to turn and after a few seconds it was ok. Today I notced PS fluid on my driveway. I found the high pressure hose had developed a leak, probably from forcing the steering the day before.

 

Anyone every had this problem? I would appreciate any advice.

somebody has over adjusted your steering box, there is an adjustment to the worm gear and if you go too far you can get binding which will cause the pump to pound alot of pressure through the hoses, causeing your leak, you could try and losen it up abit but your steering will feel looser, best bet is to replace the steering box....
