Ive had a vibration for a while from 50 - 60 mph while crusing on the highway.I installed new u-joints 5,000 miles ago and replaced the pasenger wheel bearing about 1,200 miles ago so I know its not that stuff. didnt think much of it, hasnt been doing it that long but now when I take off from a stop I get a rattling sound coming from under my truck. kinda sounds like ball bearings getting shook up in a can. I checked my T-Case fluid it was a tad low but didnt take much fluid at all when I filled it up. Ive been under the truck and it sounds like the t-case, just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem, any help would be appricated....

I had the exact same problem. I lived with it until it got too bad, the bearing noise got louder & louder. I ended up buying a rebuilt t-case that addresses all the factory defects in that case.

Cost me $950 shipped. Got it on Ebay about a year ago.

Does the tcase leak? It could be the infamous pump rattle wore a hole in the housing. Look the exhaust over real good to make sure it isn't a heat shield making that noise. Flexplate is a possibility too.

I heard it was called pump run out apparently what ever holds the pump comes loose or brakes and the pump starts to slide off the shaft up against the housing until it wears through...
