Auto Track Ii T Case Oil

Okay, so I have a 99 bravada, and my buddie told me about the service bulletin about

chattering in the transfer case at low speeds. he sais they recommend flush and replace with

gm blue auto track II oil. Does it have to be that exact fluid? can I use any old synthetic fluid?
