What is your pricing going to be? Most people go with the RC 2" kit which are only $70 and comes with all the hardware needed so it may be hard to compete.

A couple of pieces of steel and four bolts shouldn't cost anywhere near $70. It won't be tough to compete at all, just tough to make much money in such small numbers. :withstupid:

mine will be made of 6061 or 7075 aluminum w hardware. just figured i'd throw it out there since i'm making myself a set anyways. once i make one it's just as easy to make a bunch. ready lift goes for 229.95 so i figure 100 for something like it isn't bad. thats more than 50% off. no one has to buy just figured i'd offer

He isn't going to sell them for what it cost him since he won't make any profit. :withstupid:

I didn't suggest he was going to sell it for cost,I just suggested he could sell it below $70 (if plain steel and designed like the RC kit) and still see a decent profit margin, just not enough to get rich.

i like the ready lift better than the rc for a couple of reasons. 1. all the stock bolts are used with the 2 piece design, the rough country uses a longer bolt wich provides more leverage against it. wich may over time cause the two bolts to shear. 2. the rc is made out of plain old steel thats been powder coated witch will wear and rust where it has worn through. i could fix the powder coat problom by making them out of stainless steel but it would not be cost effective. the ready lift design is aluminum so no rust. i'm not looking to make a crap load of these or any huge profit. if i could sell 8 or 10 sets i would be happy, new tires. i know noone has seen the problems i have described yet with the rc but i'm sure at least the rust will happen. so for a little bit more ($21) above the rc kit you can have a kit i believe will be better in the long run. hell you can't even find a used ready lift for $100 so i think my asking price is more than fair

Sounds like a fair deal. If I were in the market, I'd definitely hit you up for a set.
