Recon Smoked Tail's & 3rd Brake. Installed. '09 White Diam

I finally got them all installed and ready for the Blackbear meet tomorrow.

I was skeptical at first due to the off-white nature of the paint, but WOW does it look great.

Let me know what ya'll think.

Also, great news, I am trading my wheels for my buddie's Tahoe Wheels. He has those nice 5-spoke brushed aluminum 20's. No more "chrome-clad" for me!! That is if they'll fit my truck..... Can someone confirm this for me??

Say, can you get a couple of close ups of those lights, especially in bright light? And with lights on dusk or dawn? I think I like'em.

Never really understood the black taillight thing. Looks like something is missing to me and they REALLY stick out on a white truck.

Meaning that you're not for them? I wasn't at first...but after installing the 3rd. brake light, and seeing the abundance of black already on my car, It looked wierd with super-red tail lights with no other red anywhere else on the truck, for my situation, they're needed. Plus they look great when lit.

No I'm not against them. I agree that they are a lot nicer than the LED lights I have seen. On some trucks (like black) they seem to blend in. They really stand out on the white. Everybody has to like something!

I know. I hate it. It wouldn't be if we both didn't live away from home now, and from our current homes, he and I are 7 hours from each other. And he's 6.5 from home and I'm 2 from home. Oh well....like I said... It'll give me a chance to put some $$ aside for my new tires... then I can have new tires and wheels mounted at the same time....then I'll roll outta the shop looking damn good!!!
