Last night a pretty good storm came through. Started having lightning and thunder around 1 am, and by 6 am it was pouring rain, winds up to 50 mph, and I thought I heard a little bit of hail. Nice weekend!

The wind sucks, but thunderstorms are awesome. I don't mind hail as long as it stays small enough to not do any damage.

Agreed. I just wish it would have been light enough to enjoy it. I love the rain.

Here in Houston it's overcast and humid as h*ll. Looks like it may rain but I haven't watched any weather in a couple of days. You guys up in Tyler probably got some serious stuff last night?

Its a crappy day here... i am sure glad that i got some yard work done and did my oil change/tire rotation yesterday evening while we had a glimpse of sunlight.

I dont mind the rain... but 50 degrees and rainy is miserable. If it was 70-80 and drizzeling id be outside cutting down branches and stuff. I hate sitting all day... i neeeed to do something

Yeah. Didn't even know we were supposed to get anything. Had the windows open when all hell broke lose. True story. Crazy times. Dwonn tree huggers.

I'd give anything for a little rain, a nice thunderstorm, any form of precipitation. With 350 days of sunshine a year and an average of about 6" of precip a year...we don't see much. These 85+ degree sunny days sure are nice though, only a few more weeks until it starts hitting the triple digits though.

I know how bad it was last night Eric. I only live about an hour or so east of you in Northwest La. I was actuallly out camping this weekend and all hell broke loose last night. We were in our tents hoping they wouldn't leak. Luckily they didn't leak, probably because we also had a big tarp up over the tent tied to some nearby trees. But one corner came loose and it was flapping against the tent. After it died off about 8 or 9 , we decided to just pack it up and head home. We didn't even try to cook our breakfast as all the firewood was soaked and we didn't wanna even fight with getting a fire going again.

Beautiful here. Sunny, calm (relatively) and about 70. I got some yard work done and the truck gets washed next.

 Cool, wet, and cloudy, been that way for almost a week. My yard needs to be baled...

Yep, haven't been able to mow here either. Just when it seems like it will dry up a little, it rains again.

Sorry to hear about all your crappy weather. Here in Victoria, BC we are enjoying warm weather with clear skies. Last night it rained, but the gardens needed it, so that was all good. Anyway, I gotta go mow the lawn now.

Cheers.
