Cup driver in Indy 500

RPM2Night reported that even though Tony Stewart will not be running the Indy 500 there will be one or two WC drivers there. Robby Gordon has a deal with an owner to run there, and Kevin Harvick is also rumored to be in negotiations with someone in IRL to run there for them.

Robby Gordon is for sure, I doubt if Harvick will and I hope he doesn't, and Andretti thought about it but besided not to.

Maybe we'll get lucky, and Gordon will somehow get stuck in Indy, or just decide that he really should just stick to open wheelers and leave WC for those who do it for the love of the sport, not the money.

the comment on RPM2Night was made that it would be easier for him to jnp over one of those cars, than it would a stock car.

Andretti was set to go to Indy, but Kyle Petty said "No". Kyle said that his teams need to concentrate on WC stuff exclusively.

Just two? Oh, I guess you're only counting the cars that he will be driving!

I predict a minimum of 7 wrecked cars over the weekend due to Robby Gordon's inability to handle any type of vehicle in a stressful situation.

I guess that's easy to say for us "armchair drivers". Even when I think a WC or Indy driver is a fool, I try to remember that no one is recruiting me to drive a race car.
