Subs In A Nbs Std Cab?

My 07 has alot less room behind the seats than my 01 std cab. Do any of you have a sub in a 07+ std cab? what fits?

Reg Cab Box

 

 

There should be a few options for the 10s without needing a shallow mount.

You could do that, or build a box and put it in the bed and port it thru to the inside. Did that a few times when i use to do car stereo for customers.

That dual box looks like it cuts down on leg room. I wonder how much.

I've got two 12" subs in my reg. cab. I got the boxes long ago from my brother, but they have price tags at $25 each. They are small and sealed, so they don't really hit the low-low notes all that well, but they are loud enough to give the truck a well-rounded sound compared to stock.

 

 

As you can see there is not a whole lot of room, but they do fit. I used some 2x6's to level the speakers, they kept tilting forward because of the uneven floor behind the seats, this fixed the problem.

It looks like it might take away a couple of inches, you can call Steve at subthump, he's extremely helpful and can tell you anything you need to know about the box, he's the one who designs them.
