I was poking around Parts Direct and I found this nifty little item. I am kinda' taken by the fact that I haven't seen too many on the road. What do you guys think?

To me it is too much plastic on the front end. Functionality... well, shopping carts are not a threat anymore. I think it just looks funky.

It does look funky but it kinda' grows on me.

It does add a little 'rugged' to the look, and is not all that bad. Personally I would venture for a metal bull bar first. Price-wise, that may be a more cost effective route.

 

Do you have front tow hooks? Do you use them? Looks like it may cover them up a bit.

There are usually 2 reasons for products that you "haven't seen too many on the road"

 

One is price.

 

The second is that it is just plain fugly.

 

 

I vote this one fugly, even if it is expensive.

Belive it or not I think I actually like it, it really follows the lines of the truck. However, I think it is probably more form than function...I would really like to see one in person..
