Location Of Vss Wire

I have just bought a factory Navigaton for my 07 yukon denali w/bose lux setup,as well as rse.I have the VSS harness but am having trouble locating the spot in the truck to tap into to operate the VSS properly, my VSS harness has a black and red wire that need to be splice in. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

If no one else can tell you, then you could get this information from a GM Factory Electrical Diagram Manual for your year/model vehicle. Order from GM dealer.

 

These would show which components, connectors, wiring harness, and colors the VSS was at. Then locations (with diagrams) of various components which is the biggest help!

You should have VSS signal at the radio harness to run the auto volume. Check your harness with wheels off ground and read with a VO meter. It should be a on-off signal when truning slowly.
