Door Lock Inop

Okay, my driver door lock will no longer respond to either the key fob nor the interior lock/unblock button. I'm stuck back in the old days of manual locking till it gets fixed. LOL Anyone else have this issue?

 

I'll try and run it by the dealership tomorrow and see what they can do about it. Keep you posted.

I have had the same problem for several months. Finaly got around to going to a GMC

service dept. out of town three or four weeks ago (Chevy dealer here does'nt do warranty work on anything but Chevys) and was told the "actuator" needed replacing and had to be ordered - still waiting to hear back from them - guess it's on a slow boat from China. It is a real PITA when you're used to power door locks.

it's definatley the door lock actuator i'v replaced about 40 of them in the last 3 months. it could have 10km or 100000km they all go on the gmt900. haven't done 1 on my truck yet but i'm sure it won't be long!

Okay, well, there you have it. Thanks for the replies. I'm kicking myself pretty hard right now. Last week I was at the hospital when my kid was born. I normally keep a weapon on me at all times but was leaving it in the vehicle while I slept - nurses in and out of the room all night. I have no idea if my truck was locked! Hell of a lesson.

Just had my driver's door lock actuator replaced today too.
