Tahoe Custom Dic Settings

Any techs out there that know the DIC settings for an 09 Tahoe LTZ?

 

When you turn the approach lighting off, it turns all the lights off (except inside). Is there anyway to allow all of the exterior lights to come on, EXCEPT the headlamps? Possibly something a dealer can program?

 

Also, when it is dark and you start your truck, your auto headlamps come on as soon as your key hits the accessory/start position, then the truck kills power to them for about 2 seconds, then they come back on after the engine has been started. Any way in the DIC to delay the headlights until the engine is running and only send power to the headlights once instead of twice? This is not good for the ballast of the HID kit.

I don't know about your specific model, but from what I have read in the past, all the changes which can be made would be detailed in the owner's manual in the personalization section, or information about the DIC or headlights.

 

Can the headlights be turned off from "Auto"?

 

From what I have read, mostly what the Techs can do is install the latest software or not install it. They can't go into the software and make any modifications other than settings for what other equipment is installed on the vehicle.

 

Sort of like windows update on your PC. You have the choice to install it or not install it!

 

But being as this is a new vehicle, might want to contact GM customer service and ask.

Dealer doesn't have a clue to how to adjust this.
