2001 Lift

i have a 2001 silverado z71 reg cab short bed with the 4.8 v8. i am planning on putting a lift on my truck here in a few weeks. i was wondering what lift and tire size i should go with that wouldnt effect my mpg to much. i want to go with a 6 inch suspention lift with 35s. i was just wondering how much my gas milage will go down if i do that. i get about fifteen mpg right now. also can 35s fit with a 4 inch lift. thanks

I don't have any personal experience with this, so I can't really give you any numbers, but I know it's been discussed before in some of the longer lift threads. Try giving the search a shot, or looking through the suspension forum.

 

I can tell you this, if you don't re-gear, your truck will be sucking down fuel like crazy.

I have 35s with a 3" Lift it works no rubbing but I will get an additional 3" Body Lift..... looks better

Nice!! Did you do the lift yourself?? What was involved??
