Door Handles :(

Hey guys, I just need to vent a little, I ordered some door handles off ebay las week and they finally came today, and they are Blue Granite instead of Graystone Metallic like my truck, so needless to say I'm a little PO'd I was all excited to put them on

No ebay will not take them back, its on the seller sheesh lol. Contact the seller, tell him what happened, if he doesnt do anything, file a dispute asap.

thats sucks. i ordered a set of h.i.d bulbs off ebay and the total price came up to almost $500. The seller screwed off with my money. His phone number didnt work either wouldnt reply to his emails. so i filed a dispute and about two months later ebay payed me back $300.

 

So i said screw it and when to some shops and around town and bought a set for my truck for $700

I contacted the seller, I'm hoping for a response by tommorrow evening, and I recently had another major dispute over a deposit on an atv, and then a title couldn't be produced, so I waited weeks, and had to contact ebay, paypal, and my credit card company finally got the money back, but I'm hoping these folks will do the right thing and exchange them, or I may have a set of handles for sale

I wouldn't worry too much......ur sitting on a rare find. I ended up having to buy new door handles and have them painted because I couldn't find any take-off Stealth Gray/Blue Granite door handles anywheres. Guaranteed you can list them on eBay yourself and at the very least break even.

well she emailed me back trying to tell me she shipped me "what chevy calls graystone metallic" and on the box bigger than crap it say Blue Granite, and she said she didn't know what blue granite was, so I sent her example pics of both colors and offered to take pictures of the handles I received so she could compare with those in the listing

Here's the listing, those are clearly not blue granite in the pics, and the ones I received still have the tape on the handle

well if you look at it as $40 shipped, that's a real good price, and it said on the box shipping was 10

The ones in the pic are definitely not Blue Granite.

 

A guy did this to me a while back too...I ordered a Multi-Function Switch for a 97 jimmy...and I got one from a 98+, they are two totally different switches BTW...they don't even look the same. The box even came with 98-03 written on it, but blacked out, and 97 written in marker. I tried to get him to send a new one, I even offered to pay shipping for the new one and ship the old one back...he never even e-mailed me back...so I hammered him on the feed back section...hoping he would send me an e-mail saying WTF...but never got anything from him...so I still have a MFS for a 98+ blazer/jimmy. I'll use it some day I guess...but it didn't help the guy that needed the switch replaced...He wouldnt pay the almost 500 bucks they wanted for a new one...and the cheapest I can get an aftermarket was 360 at the time, (I didn't have my jobber account than). So he had to go without...and I'm out 150 bucks for an MFS.

I have also had some good luck with E-bay too though...so its not all bad.

yeh that's the color your truck mark, I'm still waiting to see what she has to say
