Which Lift For 33" Tires, Nnbs

I have a 2010 Silverado 5.3 CC 4x4, 3.43 gears, which I am really interested in getting a lift for. I only want to run 33" tires as I do not want to have to re gear my truck. I have read a lot about the rancho kit, but to me the rancho kit with 33's just doesn't look right. The tires look too small for it. Just looking for more lift options, as I would like to stay with a suspension lift, but not have the tires look small. I was loooking at getting the Mickey Thompson MTZ's 33x12.5x18.

Thanks for your help.

BDS makes a 4" suspension lift.

I think the Rancho 4 is actually more lift than 4. But don't quote me on that one.

I personally think the 4" with 33" tires look damn good.

Maybe someone will chime in with more knowledge than me, which wouldn't take much  :dunno:

The Rancho does give more than 4. I believe the BDS may actually net more than 4 as well. Other than that I don't believe there are any other suspension lifts you'd want to put on that are less than that. I personally am running a 2" level with 3" body lift with 33's. I know it's not suspension but it looks great IMO with 33's. I do agree that Rancho's lift makes 33's look a little weird. Maybe go with a 34 or so. Biggest that will fit on the Rancho lift.

I was going through this same problem recently. I decided to go with a rancho kit (wich gives 5-5.5" of lift) because I saw another forum members truck that looked amazing with this lift and a set of 295x70's. I was hoping to do the same because like you I did not want to re gear. The tires I wanted (toyo MTs) did not come in a 295 with 18 inch wheels so I went with a true 33x12.50 and persally think it looks amazing, maybe a touch small, but i also had absolutely no trimming and got to keep my mud flaps which is a huge plus for me to reduce rock throwing on my doors. I agree, some of the trucks w/ rancho and 33's look funny but i think the MTZ's, like my toyo's, will fill out nicely.
