Ok so im a little late with the pics. Its been done a couple weeks, but i have been trying to wait for the weather and my schedule to line up for a wash n wax. so far it hasnt happened so heres some dirty shots i took today. zone 3.5 combo kit is on, along with bumper brackets to fix rear bumper height. Mamba M3s, 18 x 9 with goodyear wrangler ATS 275/65r18s. Also i color matched the grille (which im gonna have to redo on my own or order cus the paint chipped already and it seems like it will be coming off easy) and had the chrome bumpers powder coated black.

Stock and new.

The lift and grille and bumpers look excellent!!! Butttt I'm not a big fan of those wheels, and the tires look a little small. I think the stock chevy 18s would look great on your truck. Debadge! Overall, I like where you are going with it!

P.s. did you clear your headlights, or is it just the light? It would really match the truck if they were.

You know, in pictures i dont like them either. But in person i love em! The tires are smaller than i wanted. The next ones will be bigger. Next time i wont listen to the guy at the tire shop! He told me 33x12.5 wouldnt fit and when they didnt he wouldnt take them back. I dont know that i want to totally debadge. Its just the light, i dont feel comfortable opening up my lights to clear em. I may try on some after markets down the road. You are right, they would look awesome cleared, i wasnt sure till you pointed that out in this pic!

looks great dude. just colormatched my grille bumpers, valance, and tailgate handle.

you should do all of the handles and mirror caps and add some rear wheel well liners to close up that gap!

even as it is, looks really nice!

Looks good. Personally I like the wheels. However, I agree with the tire thing. Need bigger ones. AND do your wheels stick outside of the fender wells? From the pictures it doesn't look like it. I have 17X9 and they stick out @ an inch. Maybe it is the tires??

def want to do the rear wheel liners. i kinda feel like its pointless to color match the black plastc handles and caps to the black truck. i want to do the wheel wells and step bars next. I also need to figure out something for reverse lights, cus stock ones are terrible!

Thnx man, they look even better in person! No they dont stick out. Could be the offset and the bigger tires that make your stick out more.

Looks pretty good. I think the problem with those tires isn't the height, but the width and lack of an aggressive sidewall/tread pattern. A Nitto, Toyo, Cooper etc. would look better. I also agree with debadging. Oh, and love the color matching.

yea i wanted something more aggressive to. but they are mine now so i gotta live with em till they wear out. Geez everyones pushing for the total debadge huh? Maybe. When i clean it up and take better pics ill see what i think. It was such a pain! to do the LT and the rear bowtie. that maybe be the biggest deterrence for me. and Really i mean, why doesnt GM send them all color matched? It improves the look SOOOOOO much.

thnx for all the compliments.

I was hesitant as well after doing that rear bowtie, but I caved in soon after and I'm glad I did. It's much easier to do the second time around. When I did my doors I "sawed" the letters off and sprayed them liberally with an adhesive remover. Once the spray was mostly dry, I sprayed again. I did that probably 3-4 times and when I finally started rolling that adhevise off it was quite easy.

Looks great, I can't wait to get my 1.5" BL on. I know the feeling with tires. I have been kicking myself for almost a year now because I pulled the trigger on 275/65/18's instead of 285/65/18's. My own fault for listening but the tire guy told me no way will a 285 fit with the level. That was before I joined this great forum.
