Zone 1.5" Body Lift On My Gmc With Pictures

Ok I got some pictures of my truck finally after I installed the Zone offroad 1.5" body lift. With the body lift my truck also has the RC 2" leveling kit and have new 285/70/17 BFG tires. Currently working on redrilling my nerfbar brackets so I can reinstall them. I think this is the perfect combination with 33" tires. Best $150 I have spent.

Some of you might no know much about the zone 1.5" kit but it compares right up there with the PA and BDS kits.

The install was easy IMO since I have done at least 4 3" body lifts before. The hardest part for me was cutting the front bumper brackets and welding the tab in since I live in a condo and have no workbench and no welder but I found a way to do it. Other than that it is straight forward and the instructions are clear. The only issue is removing the front bumper because it didn't show how to remove the gmc truck but only showed how to do a chevy. You will need the bumper brackets or the HD bumper pads. I have the HD bumper pads on order.

Ok here are some quick pictures.

I don't know much about leveling kits, but I do know when I see a beautiful truck. I love yor truck, I don't think there's anything sexier then an all black truck lifted up some. Great work absolutely, and you gotta love the BFGoodrich's!

Thanks guys. I think if I went with a 3" body lift it would be too much and show too much frame

Looks great. If you are concerned about the rear bumper being lower, Zone is working on additional parts for the kit to re-locate the rear bumper higher. I think they are charging 60-70 bucks for it.

Yes I know they are and it should be available next week for about $50. But I found some HD pad for the rear bumper to take up some of the gap and it will look better and I can live with it that way.

Cool, I am thinking about adding the 1.5" as well. Didn't know welding was involved. That might break the deal for me.

The truck looks excellent, and I liked the look of it even before the lift  I agree with Amy about the BFG tires, they really do go well with the truck.

The way I got around the welding is I didn't weld it in at all the bumper is solid!!! There is a couple of guys that did this also.
