  1. Have you tried lowering the cold rear tire pressures to match the pressure the doorpost label recommended for fronts?
  2. Stores 4 for the truck.. With the trailering app, each Trailer can have up to 6. Optional package of trailer sensors with factory order is 4 sensors. Additional sensors can be ordered thru accessories. Trailer sensors include temperature, Truck sensors do not. Trailering app will keeps a bunch of other info, including fuel economy numbers, brake controller settings and maintenance reminders settings for each trailer. It also has provision for 'guest' trailer. There can be up to five trailer profiles, so that could be a total of 30 trailer sensors. Trailer profiles will be listed in the order of the most frequently used. There can also be a 'guest' profile.
  3. Maybe?? https://gm-techlink.com/?p=14363 Misfire Due to Collapsed Lifter February 10, 2021 Some 2019-2021 Silverado, Sierra; 2021 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon and Escalade models equipped with the 5.3L V8 engine (RPO L84) or 6.2L V8 engine (RPO L87) may have a misfire condition with a bent pushrod that leads to a collapsed lifter or the lifter comes apart. Misfire DTCs P0300 – P0308 may be set. If Service Information diagnostics lead to a collapsed lifter and/or a lifter that has come apart, it is recommended to replace the valve lifter guide and the four lifters. (Fig. 23) It is not necessary to replace the oil control solenoid valve. Fig. 23 Note the installed position of the valve lifter guide. The notched area of the lifter guide aligns with the locating tab on the engine block. (Fig. 24) Install the new valve lifter guide and the lifters as an assembly. Fig. 24 The part will be requested back by GM engineering. Be sure to mark the guide to show the location of the cylinder for inspection. Do not cover the date code. For more information, refer to #PIP5776.
  4. Not as nice as a bigger replacement tank underneath, but a transfer tank in the bed and you can pump to the trucks tank when stopped for a bio break.
  5. GM does have diagnostics to track down excess draw while shut off. I'd be getting GM to track it down and correct it, as there have been reports of problems resulting in above normal draw. Should be able to park much longer that 6 days without low battery. Obviously it shouldn't need a tender for 6 days of parking.... Better to correct the problem than to mask the symptoms. For charging, the dual batteries are hooked together so they behave like one big one.

  10. Sorry I misled you. I thought you were describing a page on the dic info tab that you didn't want to have come up. Curious. do you carry a turned on cell phone?
  11. You can turn off any/all dic pages and display only the ones you want. At the top level, use arrows to move to the rh end and the 'options pages' Scroll down thru the list and turn on/off the ones you want.

  15. Don't hold your breath. It's been over a year since the promises for an update...
  16. In a 2016 1500 with them they became bothersome. 2018 2500 with them they were not an issue. 2021 1500 they are not an issue. Did have to do a bunch of adjusting and trials to find front and rear seat height to my liking. With that done, I really like these seats. No longer ever 'notice' them, which imo is the sign they they are as they should be. Heating on them is way way above that '11, '15, '16, and '18's. I'm a fan of these seats so far. It was built in October, so it hasn't seen hot weather to evaluate the seat ventilation.
  17. GMC and Chev full size trucks are built in the same 3 plants, mixed when they go down the line. Silao, Ft Wayne and Flint
  18. Is it just available on the hybrid or is it available on them all?
  19. You can turn the vibration off in vehicle settings. Alert Type This feature sets the type of alert from the driver assistance systems to help avoid crashes. Touch Beeps or Safety Alert Seat. We had a 2015/6 around here that the vibration devices weren't buried deep enough and became annoying on a long trip. Not an issue with this '21.
  20. Are the corner trim pieces plastic? If so, it's likely because the body may be painted before they are attached, and the trim supplier only produces in the 'main' colours, and not in the SEO colours. There are currently abut 20 SEO colours listed for the 1500 Silverado. (a bunch of them are not available on reg cab)
  21. Is your RST a 2wd or 4wd. and tow mirrors or standard?
  22. Exterior light function depends on how many times the the Cargo Lamp button is pressed: If you have tow mirrors, the LED's in the mirrors also operated, as is the light in the tailgate handle that shines on the hitch area. Basically, first press is all on, second press shuts off mirror lights and leaves the rest on third press is all off Exterior Cargo Lamps The cargo lamps provide more light in the cargo area or on the sides of the vehicle, if needed. The lamps inside the pickup box, in the tailgate handle, for the hitch, and/or the cargo mirror lamps also turn on, if equipped. If the vehicle is in P (Park), R (Reverse), or N (Neutral) the Cargo Lamp Switch causes the lights to cycle through the following states for each button press: Initial Press: - CHMSL/Cargo Bed Lights - On - Cargo Mirror Lights - On - Cargo Switch Indicator (if equipped) - On Next Press: (if with in 5 seconds of the previous button press): - CHMSL/Cargo Bed Lights - On - Cargo Mirror Lights - Off - Cargo Switch Indicator (if equipped) - On Next Press: - CHMSL/Cargo Bed Lights - Off - Cargo Mirror Lights - Off - Cargo Switch Indicator (if equipped) - Off
  23. Incentives are often regional. At GM's website, in 'current offers' enter your postal code / zip code. Sometimes it's different for lease vs finance vs cash (cash includes deals financed somewhere other than thru the dealer) It should list the offers available for each model of the brand you are looking at. Example --- GMC 48080 https://www.gmc.com/current-offers#?vehicleType=all&requestedPostalcode=48080&postalcode=48080&open-panel=OfferType&open-panel=VehicleType&open-panel=sierra:sierra_2500hd&offer=Lease&offer=Finance&offer=Cash&focusedFilter=offer
  24. That sounds like you need the lights when the truck is stationary or in reverse. What am I missing? Those lights should work in park, reverse or neutral
