The 'holding incentives' thing was for 1500's that were ordered in December, and was not something they usually do. Normally the incentives after it arrives are the ones that apply. No sure if if they've continued 'incentive hold' for orders mad in January and/or made it available for vehicles other than the 100's.

The 23 ft thing is also in the OM. Trailer Tire Pressure Setup If the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TTPMS) is detected, touch the Tire Pressure Monitoring icon to set up tire pressure monitoring. Touch Yes to set up the sensors or touch No to return to the previous screen. The trailer tire pressure sensors can transmit up to 7 m (23 feet) from the hitch receiver of the vehicle. A trailer must be electrically connected to the vehicle before starting the sensor-to-vehicle learn process.

Boards and flaps both help avoid paint damage.

^^^This^^^ For a period of time, Z71 was different shocks, skid plates, bigger air filter and badges/decals. Probably most often added to 4wd's, but not always.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The transmission oil was warmer when parking because the torque converter would have been slipping making more heat that it does when at steady speed on highway, but there would have little or airflow thru the oil cooler. The computer is monitoring all the sensors that are installed. It WILL give a warning if/when it thinks the temperature is to high, and may even go to reduced power until it cools some - because it wants to 'self-protect'.

Take it back so they can try again. They don't all do this, so clearly there is something in need of repair.

Single speed transfer case is still 4wd. AWD normally refers to a system that is always driving all 4 wheels. And, for along time, even with the floor shifter for the transfer case, there was still the electric actuator on the front axle.

Tire pressures that match the door label are for when it's at rated load. They (especially the rear) can be lowered when it's running empty.

Seems like the become publicly available as stuff goes out of the bumper to bumper warranty. 2018 ones are available now for silverado/sierra. HelmInc is the official provider for many brands. Steering set-up is different now. We don't hear about that steering clunk issue on the newer ones. FWIW, 2010 and earlier had 11. With the new chassis in 2011 2019 there were 9, and it sounds like the new 2020+ chassis is also 9.

Good catch. (in my defense, I guess I was focusing in the trims that the OP was asking about...) Currently... On LT TB - Always gets the 10 speed. It has 2 engine choices - 5.3 and 6.2. On high country it depends. 5.3 is standard, 6.2 and 3.0 available. 8 speed - Included and only available with 2WD models equipped with (L84) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine. 10 speed - Included and only available with 4WD models, (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine or (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine.

Not really. But of course, there are also those that leave a standard gate down and then have an 'opportunity' with the corner of the trailer they are pulling. And there are those that have opened a standard gate and hit a fixed trailer jack. The 'internet' isn't up in arms about either of those possibilities. I just figure most don't need protecting from themselves. OTOH, some will require an expensive lesson. For all the reasons in my previous post, the ball mount gets removed from mine when it's not hooked to one of the trailers.
