  1. Only a small misfire? No SES light?
  2. Not what good it is but if you flick left on the radio screen, the DIC will switch to audio screen. Same on my '18 Equinox.
  3. Still have the old "good" bulb? Try it. If it works then you know you have 2 bad bulbs. If not, you'll need a volt meter and or test light. The headlights are fused seperately so check the fuses.
  4. Dealer didn't build your truck or have any input as to how it is built.
  5. That would be damn near impossible to know. Too many GM dealer incentives/kick backs
  6. You don't have to wait 3 months. Just payed mine off after a month and a half.
  7. 90% of p0455 codes are either the vent valve or gas cap. Take your pick and start there. The other 10% could a LOT of other things.
  8. It is evap system related. However, it is a sealed evap system leak. The test looks for vacuum decay after sealing the system. Not engine vacuum related. You should have a lean code if there is a vacuum leak at this spot such as p0171 or p0174.
  9. Is there vacuum at the port while running? BTW P0455 is not vacuum related.
  10. I have about half an acre. Flat. Had a Scott's 42". Used it 10 years and sold it for a Cub. Have had the Cub for 5 years. Haven't spent a dime on either.
  11. Oh, there's a reason.Couldn't say what. But there is a reason.
  12. You can't hurt injectors by diving. Chalk it up to crappy design. Or maybe crappy fuel. Also, a stabilitrak message may have been caused by a misfire code.
  13. Thee bad injectors? Sure. Not common, but it happens. As an example, #4 cylinder shows a history of 1200 misfires, #6 shows 750, #3 shows 45. It's under warranty. Are you not going to replace all three? Or maybe the worst 2 and have the tuck back next month so you can listen to the customer bitch " I just had this F#**& thing in here, My time is so valuable, bla, bla, bla". Your in there anyway, just put all three in. Having said all that, we don't have a clue what the truck ran like, what the codes were or the diagnostic procedures that were done. Probably never will. Something had to take him to injector failure. The "computer" NEVER will by its self. No magic wand.
  14. AFM won't cause injector failure.
  15. I have seen them do exactly that. I have even plugged in a three pronged household outlet tester and blown the fuse. Problem is, I can't remember if an inverter or outlet fixed it. I'm fairly sure an inverter fixed it though.
  16. Man, you're way out in left field on this. There is nothing in the left ip fuse box that has anything to do with the inverter. Pick a big fuse somewhere and that's good so it must be the inverter? Some inverters fail but have only seen a very few. 2 fuses in the right ip fuse box ( 1 via the bcm ) run the inverter. A 25a and a 10a. 9 times out of 10 , someone plugged a device that requires way too much wattage. I'ts only good for 150 watts.
  17. No puller usually required. Loosen the nut a few threads then pull and rock the wheel. Ya gotta pull hard so you need to leave the nut on a couple of threads.
  18. Desperate?
  19. I fail to understand the concern. If it fails, you WILL get a SES light. No light.... No problem.
  20. The shutters on these trucks are not for engine heat. They are for aerodynamics. They open at times when the truck may overheat. The active grille air shutter system closes shutters in the front grille to enhance vehicle aerodynamics in driving situations where cooling and A/C loads are relatively low and high levels of front end airflow are not required. If high levels of airflow are required the active grille air shutter system will open one or both shutters. The control signal from the engine control module, ignition and ground circuits enable the active grille air shutter actuators to operate. If the conditions for opening the shutters are reached the engine control module commands the active grille air shutter actuators to open one or both shutters.
  21. Don't know. Maybe. The radio may also be different. Programming would be required and the dealer cannot do it for you. There are others on this forum that have a lot of further info and contacts. Search for info.Somebody named Chris and a company called MVI. Maybe one and the same. There are others.
