You seem to be one of the rare Silveradoes to experience this. This is an assembly problem with late 2014 -15 Sierra models. It's a ground problem. Never heard of Silveradoes having this problem since they were assembled in a different plant.

Today so far in the shop, I sold and programmed a ( 22733524 ) FOB to a 2008 G6. Then revived a dead 2004 HD cluster first repaired both supplies for the displays. Then changed all the bulbs to LEDs, this guy wanted cool white. Then all new motors... And voilà!

Aren't DRLs mandatory on Bikes? Bikers ( Or as my wife call's them organ donors ) should embrace mandated DRLs on their cycles. Here in Canada it has been a welcomed enforcement. I now see these motorcycles and I have to admit, twice it happened to me cutting off a motor bike because I literally didn't see them, both times were close calls and thanks to to bikers ability I'm not a murderer. Both times I had the shakes for 30 minutes and both times I couldn't figure where they came from. I like DRLs, haven't had an other close call since.

The module that takes care of the TPMS and door locks is called the RCDLR and usually sits under the dash pad. These can fail especially if water gets in there. RCDLR Remote Control Door Lock Receiver

Just received an other Youtuber cluster out of a Tahoe. At least this guy stopped after ruining the first motor islands. May be able to save this one. Sheesh!!! Normally I would charge extra but I think he learnt his lesson.

Today , re-did a cluster I had rebuilt 3 years ago. One LED failed left of the speedometer, first in 6 years. Did it for free but the guy insisted on 20$ Nice to be appreciated!!!

Assuming the 13 is the same as the 11 it is located under the red rubber positive battery cover. As far as the lights going off with a bump that would be the ground on the fire wall and may also be your stabilitrak issue

Mine was doing this and looked for a long time until I noticed the in line fusible link was all corroded to hellandback. Decided I had nothing to lose, so I cleaned it and applied a bit of dielectric grease, this was 3 months ago and none of these ever came back, even cured a fuel pressure sensor code I was getting.

Dull day at the shop, repaired a 2012 Sportage FOB to a less than enthusiastic client who thought $20 was too much, I paid $12.95 Usd for the replacement case. There's just no pleasing some people. I actually made $1.33 Cdn on that repair so I should have charged $25 to make it worth while. If he calls again I have an ''X'' beside his phone number

Talk about micro surgery, parts in electronic goods are getting smaller and smaller, I just replaced a switch in a FOB that was soldered in place at 4 corners. The original switch is pictured here with a dime as reference.

In my shop this morning I refurbished a 2004 Silverado Duramax cluster. This guy bought his truck used with 158000Kms so he thought because that's what the cluster said. Don't know what he's going to think when I tell him this isn't the cluster from his truck. Previous owner swapped the cluster because it either failed or because he wanted to show that the truck had lower kilometers than it really had. He even changed the back cover that has the date stamped on it so it would look like it was the original cluster. But I've done enough of these to know this cluster is out of an 05. I feel bad for these people that trust used car dealers. Manufacture date was April 2004 according to date stamp. 04 Would have 2 glass diodes and 2 surface mount and a different regulator ( 7 leads ). This one had 4 surface mounted diodes and the regulator is different ( 5 leads ) and flipped around, they only started producing these in September of 04 All this just to inform you for what to look for, an 03 would have 4 glass diodes.

Today I sold a 2003 cluster I had because I can't find the problem with his original cluster. It stays on with ignition off and originally had all the pixels on in the odometer display ''ON'', should have taken a picture of it but was too into it. Now it's on but everything is off, so it's drawing about 450 ma but nothing is working. I like working on clusters and I wish I could get the schematic diagram so I could trace signals. I'll keep at it an hour here and hour there and I'll eventually find the problem, then I'll replace the motors and LED it in warm white and put it up for sale on Kijiji. Hopefully the mileage is low...( easier to sell ). One step ahead 2 step back, got the 40 volt supply to work but my pixels are back fully on and half the timer works, after about 25 seconds it drops to 230 ma now. I'll get it, I will persevere and prevail.

Wife sits down with husband after he walks in with a six pack of beer. Well he returns to his big chair in front of the game where normally he would have enjoyed a cold beer. When she comes back she notice that her husband seems steaming mad about something. Wife : '' What's wrong dear? '' Husband: '' I thought we were suppose to cut back on expenses and here you come home with over $100 worth of beauty aid'' Wife : '' Well that's to make myself pretty and sexy for you '' Husband: '' What do you think the beer was for? '' The screaming could be heard for miles until the ambulance came. He now sleeps alone with a cold beer.

Everything else looks the same.

Keep the grill but you need that hood to complete the aggressive look you're going for if it fits.

Now all you need is this hood.

O3-04 had this problem, the delay shut off timer stays on. PM me and I'll show you it could be.

Well then it's an issue, I hate when my vehicles drip on my beautiful white cement driveway. But it is a minor issue and not a very costly repair. If you do it yourself you're looking at maybe $20 and time, if you get it done at your corner garage maybe $100 if you get it done at the dealer you may be looking at $1,000,000.00

Seals always leak a little especially when not driven enough, check fluid levels and don't worry too much about it if it doesn't spill out. I had an S10 that leaked from the transfercase from day one, never dripped in the driveway but was always wet with what appeared a drop ready to fall. I drove that truck for 10 years and for ten years every time I took it in for inspection I asked them to check the transfer case oil level and in 10 years they never once added fluid to it and yet that droplet was always hanging there ready to fall. Maybe you should talk to my brother about getting a Dodge or my friend Earl about getting a Ford, he's on his second new one after a buy back and still spending more time at the dealer than with his upset wife.
