  1. Is the scratch just in the clear coat? If so it just needs a cut and polish..
  2. Yup... I think the city should be paying me for vehicle depreciation with all the salt used on roads. Gm doesn't want their vehicles rust free, otherwise you wont buy a new one.
  3. Pretty sure he hangs out in T1 section.
  4. Is it working fine now? Maybe the knob got bumped while the truck was turned off
  5. I think there's just to many variables to compare trucks with the same mileage. How the performance of your truck varied over the last 100 is the best indicator of what you could expect in another 100. That being said, do you have any pictures of your intake valves?
  6. My Corsa sport (single exit) works with both. It came with a section of pipe that you can add to fit the standard box. One would think they do this with all their kits?
  7. Lol, the 5.3 comes stock with 3inch. Don't you have a 5.3? *Edit* My mistake, stock is 2.75?
  8. No, thats the reworked lt5 throttle body. But see their lt4 tb: https://www.solerengineering.com/generalmotors/se8223-080
  9. Does that work? lol Laws are different here in Canada or rather, at least the government hasn't been caught breaking those laws.
  10. Lol, I wasn't asking you. And it's not 80 percent, it's 84ish.
  11. The more lazy we get, the more freedom we loose. Has anyone actually read about what onstar collects on you. I declined to allow them to collect/store information on me, so they cut off my onstar features. By the looks of it, you'll now have a camera pointed at your face accompanied by audio recording in 2022.
  12. The throttle does open 100%, the difference is in how gm reads the tps vs hptuners/efilive etc.
  13. I don't hear any knocking, It sounds normal to me. But maybe your picking up on something you can't hear through the video. As far as the power loss goes.. If they did work on the transmission they would have re-programmed or updated the tcm/ecm. Unfortunately these updates are most often are geared towards fuel economy/emissions or part longevity, not performance. My 17 had an update done at one point to address low speed shifting problems. The update helped shifting slightly, but the truck didn't have the same fire it did before. They said they re-built the transmission? Do you have the work order with parts/service performed?
  14. The closer the part is to failing the more consistent/louder it will be. It's sad but true that they purposely don't replace parts until they consider them to be bad (about to fail).
  15. Nice work man. Exhaust sound is a personal preference. So if your happy with it, enjoy the new sound!
  16. I would say its lifter tick. But really it could be the high pressure fuel pump or the vacuum pump. Send that video to the service manager and tell him you want that crap fixed! Or put headers on. There will be so much ticking you wont know whats what and it wont bother you anymore.
  17. That bulletin only applies to the 8speed.
  18. One would think... You could check part numbers on oe tow hooks. Should list what applications it will work on.
  19. Your gonna need a code reader for the obII
  20. Could be worse. Glad it worked out alright for you
  21. Just my .2 I have longtubes and my truck is nuts at low rpm. It will make asphalt behave like ice if you want it to (minimal throttle), but the tune does contribute to that. Definitely substantial gains low-mid, top-end didnt get the kick that I thought it would.
  22. Keep the one you have. But if your dead set on it I would recommend doing some searches on google. There's a lot of information out there, more then you would get from anyone's response on here. That being said, I have a cold air inductions intake. The only reason I went with cai is because gm liked their camaro intake so much they bought the rights to sell it as their own.
  23. It comes down to how much money you want to spend, and what kind of quality/fitment your expecting. Kooks and ARH are the go to's. But there are numerous other companies that are as good as them and sometimes priced better too. I have kooks on my truck and the fitment is good, as far as quality goes... Well, lets just say for how much they cost I was expecting something more. If there's a next time, I'd like to try ARH or Stainless Works.
  24. Yeah it's the tcc/trans. What you were describing in your original post indicated something different. Best of luck Don't you have warranty? The bill for that is going to be steep.
  25. Rock Auto is an authorized retailer.
