    Can anyone offer some direction on splicing for the kicker system? I am a bit lost on the wiring... I want to get this right. I read every post on this, found a lot of helpful info. Strange that is such variability on the colors. Yellow/black and yellow/blue for me. Thinking to go brown/yellow/black and green/yellow/blue. I also wasn’t sure if I was too far down on the wiring... Appreciate all previous posts and any new ones.

    Finally pulling the trigger on a cover. One question if anyone can help. Does anyone know the difference between the RetraxPRO XR and the Advantage Embark LS? I have a $500 credit to burn at the dealer, but want the Retrax cover...the similarities are unbelievable, all the way to the dollar. Appreciate any thoughts.

    Crossed 11k miles in the 19 Trail Boss this morning. Love this truck. And this forum makes the ownership experience even better. Appreciate all of you out there.

    I used 70% alcohol and slow steady peeling. Worked out well, but I think I got lucky.... hindsight would tell me to use 3M Adhesive Remover.

    I had 50% put on my windshield a couple months ago (15% on the rest). It’s a game changer. Doesn’t interfere with night driving in most conditions....had a rough drive in some heavy fog, but I don’t think the windshield can be totally blamed for that. The dark side/rear definitely made it a challenge. When you find a place, make sure you get good film. It’s worth the extra costs in the long run.

    Installed LED turn signals. Kept seeing them on the road...had to have em. They look great, very easy install. Went with a 7440 LASFIT set. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMSD8CS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_y0qfFbF7EEZG5 Description says US brand...it’s made in China....

    Joining the tint conversation...I put 15% on front to match the back and 50% on windshield. It’s fantastic in the sun and heat, and I love the privacy. The downside....it’s dark as hell without the sun. Country roads and early morning boat ramps can be sketchy. Nothing a floodlight can’t remedy.

    All valid concerns!! All of those questions has me looking to the long term reviews of the electronic covers. I imagine the customer support is pretty good behind those covers, given the big expense and the relative newness. Wouldn’t think they would want to risk the bad press is such a competitive marketplace. Have you, or can you, program the remote to a homelink button like a garage opener?

    Thought I’d reach out for some opinions on retractable tonneau covers. I am eyeballing the Retrax Pro XR (https://retrax.com/retraxpro-xr) because I like having the option for T rail accessories. If you have an opinion, or any suggestions, please share em. These things are pricey, and I’d like to know more than I can find on the product websites or in scripted YouTube reviews...

    I agree. Love the styling of the set, but was definitely waiting to see your install after you shared the lack of contour. I’m really hesitant to plasti-dip, mostly lack of knowledge. Videos look easy, just question the longevity. Appreciate you keeping us up to date.

    Make sure to follow up with GM on that certificate...they sent me a $500 that never arrived. Now I’m waiting till middle of June for it to expire before they send another......

    Got the windows tinted. Front 15% to match the back, windshield 50%. First time I’ve had a tinted windshield. It’s fantastic.

    Quick follow up... Talked to GM yesterday, they approved the new engine. No push back. It should ship this coming week, hoping to be back on the road soon. Will post complete story/experience then.

    You can call Chevy Customer Assistance and open a case for them to investigate. I know it’s not the quick resolution, but it will bring Chevrolet into the situation, which may help get the service center moving. 800-222-1020

    My 2019 5.3 lifter failed on Monday...3500 miles. Working with Chevy and dealer now. They want to rebuild, I’ve requested a new engine. Had no warning, noticed no symptoms. ESC warning light came on, followed by parking brake failure warning. Check engine light came on. Truck began shaking. OnStar found nothing told me to go to dealership. 8 weeks old, haven’t made the 2nd payment. I’m losing sleep...
