You took me too seriously. But, I'll play along. I recommend, to impress the ladies, you figure the diameter of the rectangular cutouts in the same way you figure a TV screen size: corner to corner diagonally. The bigger number might impress somebody, lol.

Have you tried sacrificing a large alien key? If a torx bit caused that damage, then the odds are the torx was damaged, too. It might allow you to jam/tap a large allen key into that hole and twist. Also looks like welding a nut may be a no-go due to wiring and plastic connectors in very close proximity.

I've never had an exhaust on a vehicle I owned until I bought my 2020 Silverado and installed the GM Performance exhaust. I'm in my 40s.

A picture might help to show us what you're up against. If the stripping isn't too bad, we might come up with some crazy ideas. For example, I've had success with laying a rubber band across the head of a bolt, then using the correct sized tool (in this case T50) to press the rubber band into the head of the bolt to fill the gap that was created. It's worked with smaller screws/bolts, but I'm doubtful on the larger bolt.

Thanks for mentioning the Top Teir part. That is a concern for me. Sounds like you're in California or higher altitude if you're using 91 octane. I'm a Sam's Club member, but the closest one is 20 minutes away. That's a heck of a trip to save $10 in gas with each fill up.

I didn't know this was a thing. I thought GM only did auto dimming on rear view mirrors mounted onto the windshield. I know this tech exists for other brands that are more "luxurious", but they typically only place them on cars because trucks usually blind them from behind. Therefore, I'm not sure if Chevy made this available for the Silverado. If not, tinting the door window will help. Tinting would also be cheaper than replacing mirrors, too. Here's a question I have. What was behind you that was tall enough to blind you while in your truck?

Mods, Can we get a facepalm emoticon? If this is a bad design, then it's been a bad design for about 20 years. 20 years of history and the odds are you're in the minority group of dissatisfied owners.

Toyota, Honda, Ram, Ford, Tesla, BMW, Audi, Volkswagon and a few others all seem to be the same way. Those who are unsatisfied with 1 brand usually end up moving to another where the experience other inconveniences. It's a matter of people figuring out which unconveniences they can cope with in their imperfect lives. I prefer GM because I have the knowledge and skills to overcome their imperfections, except with automatic transmissions. I could rebuild the engine in my truck. I don't understand turbocharged V6s or diesel engines. And, electric cars will require learning many new things. Others have their own preferences and skill sets, which influence their buying decisions. One of my neighbors just bought a 2018 F-150. That's his preference due to previously being a Ford owner. I'm not brand loyal. I'm brand comfortable.

I've had a 2020 Silverado Trail Boss LT w/ 6.2 for about 18 months. I've put 21,000 miles on the odometer already. Here's my take on your list. 1. After a little bit of wear the socks will settle and the ride will become smoother. Dealer can't fix this. Your other option is to replace with non-OE shocks. Many people seem to enjoy Bilsteins. 2. It's not a sports car. It's a truck. It's the weight and size of the vehicle. It's not a 2013 Camaro. 3. I don't know if they're suppose to do this since I have tow mirrors. Have you tried going through your settings in the radio? Maybe it's not a feature that exists anymore? 4. Clean it. Sounds like hard water dried on it. 5. Clay bar and polish. Paint GM more users is water based and much thinner. Dealership doesn't care. They'll say it's adequate and undamaged. 6. Good luck getting that fixed. 7. I wish a picture had been provided for this one. 8. Are you sure it's an HD radio and not a HD radio screen? 9. Rattle in the rear is the rear head rests. Pull them out, pull the parts apart a little bit, and reinsert. Rattling should go away. 10. I've never encountered this. 11. Goes away after awhile. There's nothing the dealership can do. Be patient. I can't wait for you to notice the body line don't flow on the driver side between cab and bed. You'll probably say the bed is misaligned. That isn't the case at all. GM says it's just a difference in the manufacturing process. However, their fix is to disconnect the cab from the frame and install washer between the frame and cab to raise the cab and assign the body panels. $57k isn't a lot of money today. The hyperinflation were now experiencing means your dollar doesn't go as far. Elections have consequences, and they affect business decisions, too. GM has to make a profit, too. They'll either cut corners to save costs, or charge you more for their product. I think it's a combo of both. Imo, if you want it perfect, make it yourself. Harassing executives won't get you the solutions you want. I know from experience there are customers that can't be made happy. They usually get a click from me hanging up the phone. They can post a negative review and I can respond so the public sees both sides of the story. You sound like one of those people I don't enjoy dealing with, one of those where Reality and Expectations are never going to meet.

You don't need the dealer. You need something like this. They are informally known as "Speed Outs". Use them in a power drill. Sometimes you need to drill the bolt head to get enough depth to get these to bite. I got pulled over for my exhaust being too loud many years ago. I was driving a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. Exhaust was unmodified from the factory. Not all police officers know what they're doing. With that said, OP got what he wanted from the police -- attention.

I'll look more closely at the alternator pulley next time I'm under the hood. Thanks for the lead on that. As I stated in my post above yours, I'm noticing fraying on one edge of my belt.

I've found this to be caused by fender flares, not wheel well liners. Wheel well liners, imo, reduce the number of places that get impacted by salt flinging off the tires and chipping away at paint, such as the underside of the truck bed.

You don't find that kind of mud in Northern California. Second, I disagree the problem is perpetuated by the felt liners. I have driven everywhere in this country, and think I know what you're referring to. Almost sounds like Iowa. I know the deep south has some nasty mud, too. However, a good pressure sprayer has never prevented me from cleaning my trucks. And, many plastic liners are not silky smooth to prevent the mud from sticking. Some are textured to provide ridgidity.

I've been looking at the one Rough Country has. It comes with a new lower valance and led fog lights. I only want the winch tray. I've been weighing whether or not I'll buy it. One area of concern I'm noticing is the tow hooks.

I keep my primary carry firearm with me at all times. As a military spouse I often end up in states that won't issue a permit to me because I'm not a resident of that state (violation of 14th Amendment???). When living in Illinois I found a loophole in the law and switched from concealed carry in my vehicle to "transport mode" at work. You don't need a permit to carry a firearm at work. It's in the FOID Card Act. So, before getting out of my vehicle I'd put my firearm into my laptop bag and take my laptop bag into work with me. The other idea is to wear looser clothing so you don't "print" your firearm. More than 80% of mass shootings happen in areas where firearms possession is prohihited. I'd rather lose my job than my life. Jobs are replaceable. Civil Rights don't stop at the door. The 2nd Amendment is clear. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. That law applies to all persons and places. And, before anybody jumps in and tries claim that is only applicable to the militia (which isn't the military), please refer to federal statute 10 USC 246 -- the American People are the militia. We are defined as Unorganized Militia.

I don't understand the hate for the stock wheel well liners. I have absolutely no difficulty getting them clean.
