  1. I found LoveSacs to be far more comfy, but they're also far more expensive. However, unlike a mattress the LoveSac can be cleaned. I will admit to being biased though. A friend from high school started and owns the company.
  2. T1s are different from the previous generation in many ways. It's as if GM was bridging to the new electrical architecture that is being debuted in the 22s.
  3. I'm a simple man with no knowledge on this subject. I'm just sitting by watching what people are saying. Here's what I think. The catch can is made of metal. When it heats and cools condensation is created. The can is connected to the engine via air hoses. Those houses might be able to carry the condensation to the engine. Could it be enough to hydrolock the engine? I don't know, nor do I want to be the person that finds out. I'd like to see what Mickey thinks.
  4. 25-27 mpg definitely isn't accurate for a gasser. That's gotta be for a baby Dmax. Best 50 mile average I got from my 6.2 was 23.9, and many have stated the real world numbers indicate the 6.2 gets slightly better mpg than the 5.3.
  5. Thanks. I'm not very knowledgeable about the engineering in all this. I've often wondered how it all works, among other questions such as how it would affect towing, etc. Don't worry about Grumpy. Push any issue far enough with him and you'll have the same honor bestowed upon you that he bestowed upon me. I'm on his ignore list.
  6. If my wife parts with her 2017 Traverse I will be doing the same thing. If something happened to my current truck where I needed to replace it, 3.0 it will be. I love everything about the 6.2, but the gas bill.
  7. My guess is #9, the one at the top of the list, immediately above the upper highlighted part. I suspect it mounts into the bracket that the 2 screws are securing to the body. I'd have to take a closer look, and that's not happening at this moment since I'm in bed and it's zero dark thirty where I'm at.
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to make this work wouldn't you want to same width tread? Wouldn't going wider increase fiction with the road, thereby decreasing mpg via making the powertrain work harder to cover the same ground? I've always wondered about this, but never got a solid answer.
  9. I have the 6.2. That's 2 engines with the same trans both agreeing.
  10. I'm not knowledgable enough on this to be given credibility, but something tells me you're correct. If the problem was the heater core all the vents would have cold air blowing out of them. It does sound like one of the blend door actuators are not working. However, as I indicated at the beginning of my post, I don't know enough to know for sure.
  11. I've come a long way in life. In high school my family was homeless on the street. We were so poor that we invented ways to eat potatoes so it would remain interesting since all we could afford for a 15-day pay period was potatoes, and a few extras that we spread thinly over those 15 days, such as butter, or cheese, or sour cream, etc. I've busted my ass to have a better life. The fact that I wake up everyday and have a nice new truck in my driveway is something I appreciate in ways most people would never comprehend. This was the first vehicle I got to splurge on, and some of that splurging was an exhaust.
  12. It's a Commonwealth. Most people don't understand. America doesn't have 50 states. It has 46 states and 4 commonwealths.
  13. The GM Performance exhaust comes with a sticker you place somewhere under the hood to indicate its a factory part. That may be how. I have that exhaust and sticker on my truck since I'm in California.
  14. I did the navigation upgrade on my Trail Boss LT through MVI. I don't get the speed limit in the dash. However, GM changed the route guidance in the non-factory navigation trucks to something called Chevrolet Maps+. It's a navigation system that does put the speed limit on your radio screen. Both the posted limit and the speed you're traveling. I have found many times the posted speed limit was incorrect, and many addresses that have been around for decades that the Maps+ didn't recognize. I prefer the GM factory navigation system, especially since I have upgraded my OnStar subscription to maximize the benefits of the navigation system. I don't have the issues Chevrolet Maps+ does, even though I'm not seeing the speed limit in the DIC. If Chevrolet Maps+ is any indication, the speed limit info isn't always correct, and that's not an excuse that'll work with a judge.
  15. You'll get use to them. Only regret is they aren't power folding and don't have cameras. I may change that in the future.
  16. Which engine? Iirc, the part numbers are different for 5.3 and 6.2.
  17. Holy thread back from the dead Batman!
  18. Some people pay big money to lift their rear end. Now people are spending money for more sag. The human race is perplexing.
  19. I have the same issue. When I bought my truck everything was perfect. Maybe it's a software update? Maybe it's because I'm a fatass and while standing on the tailgate with it down the plastic piece with the camera and push button to open popped out on one side? I think it's the former because the latter happened a few times and I just popped it back in and the camera was fine until one day it wasn't. Anyways, if love to hear what you guys find out. My truck will be going in for an oil change in about a month and I'd love to get this annoyance fixed, too.
  20. These would probably be more useful Carlashes (1001UB Classic Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NM3MOLU/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4K9PH6HAHD513F4ZSZMX
  21. I was hoping to help, but you're too far away. Sorry.
  22. The draft is for military service, not militia. The Commander In Chief for the militia is the state governor, not the US president. Currently, a draft isn't legal, but that doesn't mean Congress can't change that.
