Trailer Lights Again......

Just bought a new 09 GMC 2500hd with trailer package. get home tonight to hook up trailer, NOTHING, no lights at all, I know traielr lights are fine I had them connected to my 06 1500 this past weekend....

 

Is there something that needs to be connected to get power to the 7 pin plug.... No tester right now and its pouring rain and to dark but need ideas to look for in the am....

Under the hood, there are wires that need connected. Why GM doesn't do it.. I'll never know.

 

I'll see if I can find the link that has photos for you and instructions on connecting them but it's real easy.

thanks, I thought I read about that on here (great info site) AND TOLD DEALER to make sure it was all connected,,,,,, obviously doesnt sound like they did....

just checked......no power to 7 pin .......
