Anyone Seen/used This Leveling System Before?

Seem the link for this website and noticed this lift system, and hadn't seen anything like it before. Would it work on my 2003 Silverado 1500 Z-71? States it only works on the 'HD' version, but i would assume it would fit perfectly?

Neither have I, it looks interesting though, and if it did not have to use the torsion bars to level it, i think it would be well worth the money and then you dont have the worry of your torsion bars. And on my reg. cab shortbox it would be nice/look nicer with the front end leveled...wish more people knew/seen this system! Thanks tho! Ryan

For the $600 price tag, you're better off buying one of the 3-4" suspension lifts from RC or superlift for $1000.

That's an expensive $600 "leveling kit" that doesn't address balljoint, tie rod or CV angles. For $1000, you can get a "small" lift that keeps OEM angles on these components. You'll spend the difference in front end parts really quick. Now if that "leveling" system was $200 and you only wanted 2" max... I could see its benefit...

(Edit: for trucks with plows & such, they make sense too; for taking up the extra load... but if you just want to lift your front end, I stand by my above statement)

That is very much true. I didn't know if it affected your front end much or not. I didn't think it would, thus saving your front end as you didnt need to adjust your torsion bars. But maybe you have too? Anyways, question i have always wondered, with a lift like your talking about, dont you still need to adjust your torsion bars to level the front end? Or does the lift take care of all that leaving the bars stock? Always wondered that, and if you can keep them stock, a lift would be something to look into and look great also i think!

You dont need to adjust your torsion bars because the 'shocks' apply a force in addition to the torsion bars to raise the front.

However, the effects to the front end are just as detrimental as if you did crank your torsion bars. It's not the act of cranking the torsion bars that destroys the front end, its the angles at which the components are working at. Thus, any increase in ride height without the use of a proper lift system will wear the front end components quicker.

Yes that makes sense. Thats is why i do not want to level the front of my truck by changing the torsion bars = changing the angles of the front axles, etc. But a lift then lets you leave them stock and the shocks raises the front end of the truck to level it out with the rest of the truck. Thats what i needed to know....recommend any good lifts? About 2 or 3 inches of lift? nothing to extreme?

Thanks Ryan!

skyjacker and superlift make 3" systems for your model year... check out www.rockymountainsusp.com , they have all the manufacturers listed

Edit: more specifically: http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/GM_IFS99.htm

I like the rancho kit... it'll actually give you closer to 6" but you can decrank the torsion bars (so the CVs are flat) and be at 4". Then if you ever wanted to, bring it up to the 5-6" range.
