Corsa Sport Exhaust? How Loud Is It?g

i am almost ready topull the trigger on a Corsa Sport system formy truck. I have been reading tons of reviews on this site. I know there will be no drone in the truck but what about exhaust tone in the cab? I dont care how loud it is outside the truck but how loud is it inside the cab? I would like to it be quite.

Can you hear your current factory exhaust inside the truck. With the sport, about double it with the sport. On cruise, you won't even hear a difference over factory. You hear it when you step down hard on the gas, but not loud at all. :P In the last Corsa thread, there was several sound clips that give a good idea what your truck will sound like. On the 6.0 it's a little louder.

so just cruising no extra sound. close to stock. only when you hit the go peddle does it come to life? that exactly what i am looking for.

I know that we have chatted about this some, but I think from your description of what you are looking for, the Sport will work nicely. I will also tell you that I would have still bought my system if I only had sport available. So, while I love my touring, the sport would work nicely too. It's not going to be like sticking an 16in Mangaflow or Slowmaster 40 series on it.

Go for it. I will give you a guarantee. It is now in writing, If you do not love the sport I will trade you my touring muffler.

I have heard both, you will love it.

No drone means no tone. If quiet in-cab cruising and little noise at idle outside is what you want then by all means this is your system. It really comes alive with heavy go-pedal action. I just installed the sport catback on my truck and ended up having my muffler shop make a pipe to fill in for the muffler. Mine sounds exactly how I want now, but I wanted louder cruising and WTFO sound.

I'll chime in with my .02 on the Sport. It is quiet cruising through town and sounds great during acceleration. However, I can hear more of the exhaust than I would like on the highway (60 mph +)...a bit too aggressive for my taste. Then again, this is the first truck time that I have ever changed exhausts so maybe I need to take baby steps. Factory quiet at highway speeds is perfect for me. I'm satisfied with the Sport but I think the Touring would be the perfect fit for me. FWIW, my wife loves it. :P

Man, he is considering the Corsa Touring vs Sport. I don't think a straight pipe is what he has in mind.

Actually, no drone means beautiful tone. It is just all out the back and not in the stinking cab.

I'm trying to highlight the good qualities of the corsa sport while also sharing my experience.

And just like 66Nova said it does have great tone out the back. And the cats muffle quite a bit. Also wanna be able to put my muffler back on if I go with catless LT headers so I'm not too loud.

Yes it is! I'm trying to convince her that she would like new wheels on the truck even more but she isn't convinced yet.

You'll enjoy the sound when you step on it but IMO the tone at cruising speeds in the cab is marginal...Very happy with how it sounds under ALL driving conditions
