Ac Noise

I took a trip down to galveston tx this past weekend and i cycled alot between 2 and 3 on the ac speed on reciculate and non recirculate.

I noticed sunday that when it is on speed 3 in recirculate (max ac) I hear this "brrrrrrrrrrr" and it gets louder if i increase the speed. it is not as pronounced in non-recirculaten but i can hear it in 4 and 5, just not as loud, but i dont think the fan turns as fast. I replaced the fan back in november with a new one, gm part. so I hope it is not that. Also this moring on my way to work i noticed in 1 and 2 there is a squeaking noise, but i didn't here it this afternoon. this is a 2001 chevy silverado 5.3l

That sounds to me like a problem with the fan.
