Hi,

 

Can any of you Techs out their help me with locating the OnStar box in my 08 Equinox? I also would love to have a diagram showing its location.

 

Also I need to put a GPS antenna in the dash any chance I could get a diagram showing its proper location and how to install it?

The VCIM is located above the brake and gas pedal, below the steering column. You need to remove the trim panel below the column to get to it.

If you have OnStar, you already have a GPS antenna connected to that box. To replace it, you need to remove the upper dash panel.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to add the Nav GPS antenna and the Voice harness. I thought the VCIM was below/behind the radio, thanks for its location.
