With this truck. I have not taken if for a drive yet, but im looking for a new truck. I really wanted a diesel and i really was not sure about buying a GM. This is one of the trucks im thinking about. I just wanted to show you guys this truck because i know someone you well like it.

What are these vortex max trucks like, i have never had one and dont know anyone that does. Do they have any common problems? and how would you rate them against a Ford or Dodge 1500

I love my VMax...the 6 liter runs very strong. I haven't had any problems with mine...it's an '08.

Jesus, I'd be afraid to drive that thing. Knowing that I drive with my windows down 365 days a year would deter me from that... Let alone muddin' with the windows down.

Though it is possible, I find it hard to believe that truck was babied. And how many km's does it have? Im guessing quite a few. When i was looking for a truck, i noticed a new ltz with most of the options, extended cab, stickered at $60,000. This is what, at most 2 years old, and he has put alot into it.

Vmax has been around for a while. Stock the L76 motor has 367hp and 375tq. I love mine

I think his price tags a little much though.

He probably meant to type 10. Sometimes one keystroke can make all the difference. There's no way that boss truck is gettin' 20 MPG goin' downhill with the wind pushin' him.

I know there is no way it gets 20mpg. But i do believe it could be babied because i have a few friends with new trucks that look the same as this and they have all put about 50 000 on them but its all been highway and they dont see the mud. But if i look more into this was im being my friend whos a mechanic and we are going over every inch of this truck. I just hate the interior on these trucks and im still not sure if i want a gas truck.

hockeypro1411 im like you windows are always down, even in the mud. Thats why i could keep my current truck as a toy when i buy a new one.

my guess about the 20mpg is he is from canada so he would be using the canadain gallon which will make your fuel milage seem a lot better.

4.54 canadain vs. 3.78 in america makes a big difference and notice tha a lot when ppl are bragging about there fuel mileage.

I am not sure GM warranty will cover wheel bearings with the lift kit. You may want to check that out. I got 140,000 on my drivers side, and 152,000 on passengers side, no lift.

Kinda Pricey for an 08, don't you think?? Go shp around for an 08 pn the lots, just to see how prices are.

And that is why litres/100 kms is WAY more accurate.
