pretty sweet if its true and should give the GT500 a good run

they just had a comparo between a GT500, SRT8 and hennessey supercharged comaro and besides some suspension issues the 550HP comaro was pretty awesome.

Insiders say the Z28 business case now makes sense because the new UAW contracts have reduced the labor costs on the car to the point where GM feels it can price it competitively -- and far enough away from Corvette.

 

Note to Angus MacKenzie: Get your facts right. The Camaro is built in Oshawa, Ontario where the autoworkers are represented by the CAW, not the UAW.
