Would Assist Steps Look Okay On A Eclb?

If so, I was thinking the black would be best for my truck. What say you?

3 inch Round, Stainless, Extended Cab, Black 19213584 $ 395.00

3 inch Round, Stainless, Extended Cab, Chrome 19213583 $ 495.00

Would any of you happen to have pictures of steps on a ECLB?

Thanks!

Not the type youre looking at but it should give you an idea! :P

Go large, as in 6" ovals. IMO, they have a more "supposed to be there" look and give you a biggger step target, yet not looking like minivan runningboards. :P

But either way, yea go with GM steps. Mine fit like, well, factory. :D

But.....N fab I think has some that go past the cab with a 3rd step that look good too.

+1 for the 6" ovals. That's what me is getting soon.

+2.... the 6" ovals are not too big, not too small, and they look awesome.

I like the look of the 6", but went with the GM 3" round on mine. I really like the more subtle look, and they are very strong. You won't go wrong with either GM model, it's a matter of taste.

Edit: IMHO, they "look" best on crew cabs due to the proportions, but I bought them for function (kids, rocker panel protection). Overall, I like the clean "look" of the trucks better without them, thus the smaller 3" bars... but that's opinion.

Actually, those are exactly what I was looking to get. Those aren't factory though, are they?

I've been looking at other trucks to see if I like the chrome ones better, but I think the black looks good on yours. I don't have the shell, and have black rail caps, so I think the black ones would blend right in.

I know in the aftermarket, like the Dee Zee I am getting, the chrome/stainless are lifetime warrantied, the black finish only 5 years as they rust as the paint gets chipped off. Even worst in northern climates when you add road salt to that.

I would love black to blend with my truck, but going with chrome for durability.

No they are not factory. UWS is the brand name. I got them from a local shop

Big trucks need big assist steps, get the 6" wide ones.

I wish I could find some to look at in person before I order. Too bad they don't have truck meets like we do GTO meets. I did locate the OEM black ones for $546.

With the holidays coming up, I probably shouldn't be spending the money, but I'm damaging my seat tring to drag my fat ass up into the cab. Hopefully, this will allow me to make a little step up and clear the edge of the seat without mushing it.

My boyfriends got the 6'' oval steps on his 08 Sierra Denali. I love them, and am lookin to get me a set for my 08 VMax when I finally get the cash. They are just the right width for stepping on when getting into the truck, and you dont have to worry about your foot slipping inbetween the nerf bars and the cab of the truck. Its not in person but I have a couple pictures for you to see. Hope it will help you with making a decision.
