High Performance Parts For 94 Sonoma/s-10

I am wanting to give my 94 GMC Sonoma more power. It has 4.3L Z eng. I am thinking of getting a K&N cold air intake kit P/N:57-3009. Has anyone done this? Is it really worth the $$?

 

Besides this what else would you guys recommend?

I used to have a 95 S-10 w/ the same motor as you before I got my new truck. I had an intake, custom dual exhaust, MSD ignition and a JET chip and I never really saw a dramatic increase in power. I did see an increase in MPG though. The JET chip ended up shorting out and messing with my idle and emissions so I removed it.

 

If you are looking for other options, I have a March Underdrive pulley set that I took off of the truck before I sold it if you are interested in that. I don't have any pictures and I can't recall the part#, but I can get both of those when I get home tonight.

Im sure if he wanted to spend that much he wouldn't have mentioned a CAI as an option.

The k&n cai was worth it for me.

Just got a gibson cbe, paceseter headers, and an eastern hfc.

Being it's a 97 she was in need of an exhaust upgrade and I felt a big difference in the power ban. Also my mpg increased by 3.

If you gotta extra money and your gonna hold onto the truck for a while then do it!!!
