01 Yukon Xl - Auto Leveling Compressor

My truck no longer adjusts ride height to compensate for added weight. I also have been through a couple of batteries. Is it possible that the battery is draining due to the failed auto ride compressor? I was told that is possible for the battery to drain because it will attempt to power the compressor repeatedly over a period of time. Hope this makes sense.

 

Also, I have no idea how to look for and diagnose a parasitic drain. Any and all advice is welcome. I don't work on my truck myself but I am capable of small stuff.

Is the air-ride compressor on it's own fuse? Pull it and see if that helps.

I have bought from this place several times fixing panther fords (crown vic's/grand marques/town car) rear air suspension. Arront Industries they will usually wear out the dealer. And they sell complete ford kits on ebay they may do the same with the gm stuff.... They even have Bilstein's for the rear air shocks available.....
